That is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! I can’t thank you enough for sharing your photos. If only it were cold enough here for the waterfalls to freeze!
Hugs from Ecuador,

Glad to share, Kathy! And, I might add, none of these photos were edited in the slightest. They’re a mix of camera and phone pics, and ironically, the phone ones always seem to turn out the best when it comes to scenery.

You may have heard, North Texas has been iced in since last Thursday. We ventured out yesterday and I snapped a few shots, but nothing as spectacular as these. Beautiful. Just beautiful.

I have heard. We have friends in the Dallas area, and they’re going a little stir-crazy. Hope y’all thaw out soon!

Truly Mark, these are some AWESOME shots! The one on the upper left hand corner took my breath away!
Well done, buddy. WELL done!!!!!!!
And of course, thank you for sharing them because you know I was smiling seeing all that ICE. 🙂

Glad you enjoyed them, Ron! The waterfalls freeze over like this once every few years, when it gets cold enough. Considering our low the other morning dropped to 7…yeah, it was cold enough!

You know how much I hate winter, and wintery things, but these are lovely. Well done.

Was in Buffalo with girlfriend 1985 and Niagara Falls frozen solid. There were blizzards, a million degrees below 0 and a million inches of snow. Everyone was astonished in that why would a person from Miami come to Buffalo for a vacation in December. One bit of life span extension advice – do not walk into a bar in Buffalo wearing a Miami Dolphins football jersey.

I imagine that would be similar to walking into an Oakland bar wearing a Broncos jersey. “The natives are restless” is an understatement! (If I lived in Florida year-round, I’d probably want to trek somewhere cold and snowy just for a break from the monotonous 80-degree heat and humidity).
